Russia massively strikes Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia: Killed and wounded reported

On the morning of April 9, Russians struck Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding area. Powerful explosions were heard in the city, and smoke rose above it, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
Russia attacked the Zaporizhzhia region early in the morning with guided aerial bombs and multiple launch rocket systems.

Several private homes were destroyed in the village of Balabyne. A woman was injured as a result of the shelling. Medical personnel are providing her with all necessary assistance.

Later, the head of the Regional Military Administration reported that the number of wounded had increased, and information about casualties had emerged.
As of 7:40 a.m. Kyiv time, there are reports of at least 4 injured and 1 killed.
Zaporizhzhia and the region are under systematic Russian strikes.
On April 3, Russians launched ballistic missile strikes on Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia.

On March 21, Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia with drones. There were fatalities, and children were among the injured. On the same day, Russia struck the city’s critical infrastructure, causing power outages.
On March 24, following a Russian strike in Zaporizhzhia, a gas station caught fire, and a drone struck a high-rise building, apartments were on fire, and there were injuries.
