Russia sends missile carrier to Black Sea after three-week hiatus
For the first time in three weeks, Russian terrorists deployed an underwater missile carrier with up to 4 Kalibr missiles to the Black Sea, according to the press service of the South operational command.
In total, the Russians have on combat duty:
- 5 ships in the Black Sea;
- 1 in the Sea of Azov.
Russian blockade of the sea
Russian terrorists use the Black and Azov Seas for their military purposes. The Azov Sea is currently under full enemy control.
Russian dominance in the Black Sea was reduced after the liberation of Zmiinyi Island. In particular, after Russia's withdrawal from the grain deal, civilian shipping was again threatened, although the enemy blockade of the sea has been breaking through in recent months. For example, only recently the Russians fired a Kh-31P anti-radar missile at a ship entering a port in the Odesa region.
According to Natalia Humeniuk, a spokesperson for the Southern Ukrainian Defense Forces, the Russian fleet is not as active in the Black and Azov Seas as it was last year. The enemy is probably waiting for frost.
