Russia's Ust-Luga port attacked again, flights disrupted

Russian authorities report a drone attack on the Leningrad Region, claiming that 20 aerial targets were shot down. The port of Ust-Luga was shelled yet again; airports are operating under restrictions, according to OSINT sources.

According to Leningrad Region Governor Alexander Drozdov, the drone attacks began around 4 a.m. Air defense systems then activated and reportedly managed to shoot down several drones in succession. In total, 20 aerial targets were reportedly shot down.
Due to the raid by unidentified drones, operations at airports were restricted: specifically, Pulkovo in St. Petersburg and Khrabrovo in the Kaliningrad region.
As a result, several flights were delayed, and some were canceled.
Strikes began at 5 a.m. in the territory of the Ust-Luga port. The extent of the damage has not yet been disclosed.
In widely circulated footage of the attack, filmed near the port, bright flashes are visible in the sky, and loud sounds of explosions can be heard.

Attacks on Ust-Luga port
The first strike on the port occurred on March 25. At that time, a fire broke out in the port of Ust-Luga following a drone attack.
Drones attacked Ust-Luga for the second time on March 29. The third strike of the port took place just a few days later, on March 31.
Reports are circulating online about plans to destroy this strategic facility in Russia.
