What is known about the attack

According to the city council, that night, Russia carried out a missile strike on one of the city’s industrial facilities. Rescue services are currently working at the site.

“We ask everyone to remain calm and not to share photos or videos from the scene for the safety of all of us,” the city council stated.

Air pollution

Later, local authorities again urged residents to keep their windows closed due to air contamination caused by the Russian missile strike.

“We ask everyone to tightly close their windows and not go outside unless absolutely necessary,” the statement said.

Number of casualties

As of 07:15 Kyiv time, 12 people have been reported injured.

“Ten people were taken to St. Martin’s Hospital by ambulance, and two more sought medical help on their own,” the city authorities reported.

Five patients remain under inpatient care, with one transferred to the regional hospital. All victims have received timely medical assistance and are provided with everything necessary.

The patients’ condition is stable.

Massive attack on the night of August 21

On the night of August 21, Russia launched a massive combined attack on Ukraine. It is already known that strike drones (Shahed), cruise missiles, and hypersonic Kinzhal missiles were used. In addition to Kyiv, explosions were reported in Chernihiv and Rivne regions.
