Russia fires several missile groups at Ukraine, hitting Sumy, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia

The Russian army launched several groups of cruise missiles at Ukrainian territory overnight on Thursday, August 21. Explosions were heard in both northern and central regions.

Sumy
According to the Air Force, cruise missiles were detected over the territory of the Sumy region. They were moving there from the Poltava region.
At around 05:16 Kyiv time, local media reported explosions in Sumy. However, there have been no official reports on the consequences yet.
Dnipro
Cruise missiles also targeted Dnipro today. The Air Force warned of a high-speed target approaching the city at around 05:12. Explosions were reported in the city shortly thereafter.
Zaporizhzhia
The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported multiple times about the threat of cruise missiles to the region. Initially, the missiles were heading toward other regions.
At 05:27, explosions were heard in the Zaporizhzhia region. There is currently no information about casualties.
