Russia's Nizhnekamsk oil refinery in Tatarstan attacked

Explosions were heard in Russia's Tatarstan on the morning of August 10. Local residents reported a drone attack, including in Nizhnekamsk, while local Telegram channels reported an attack on an oil refinery, according to OSINT channels.
According to preliminary reports, residents of the city heard explosions and reported drones flying overhead. Footage later began appearing on local Telegram channels.
It should be noted that Nizhnekamsk is one of Russia's main oil refining centers. Two major oil refineries, TANECO and TAIF-NK, are located there. The facilities specialize in processing crude oil and gas condensate.
These facilities have been targeted by drone attacks multiple times and are considered key facilities of Russia's fuel and energy infrastructure.
Nizhnekamsk's industrial facilities have also been targeted by drone attacks in the past.
In particular, on the morning of July 31, local residents reported more than 30 explosions in Nizhnekamsk. Afterward, a large flare was seen burning at one of the oil refining facilities.

Other strikes on oil refineries
Drone attacks on Russian oil refineries are becoming increasingly systematic - in the first days of August alone, two major facilities were forced to halt operations.
It should be recalled that on August 8, Ukrainian drones struck the Ilsky Oil Refinery in Russia's Krasnodar region and the Syzran Oil Refinery in the Samara region overnight.
Several days earlier, Ukrainian drones struck the Yaroslavl Oil Refinery and two FSB Coast Guard vessels in Kerch.
