Russia's losses in Ukraine as of September 8: 1200 soldiers and 30 artillery systems more

On September 7, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 1,200 Russian soldiers on the front lines. Additionally, 30 artillery systems and 80 drones were destroyed, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The total combat Russian from February 24, 2022, to September 8, 2024, is estimated to be:
- personnel - about 625260 (+1270) troops;
- tanks - 8636 (+4) units;
- troop-carrying AFVs - 16897 (+19) units;
- artillery systems - 17804 (+30) units;
- MLRS - 1180 (+2) units;
- anti-aircraft defense systems - 942 units;
- aircraft - 368 units;
- helicopters - 328 units;
- UAVs operational-tactical level - 14864 (+80) units;
- cruise missiles - 2588 units;
- warships/boats - 28 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- vehicles & fuel tanks - 24218 (+47) units;
- special equipment - 3047 (+10) units.
According to the latest update from the General Staff, as of 22:00 on September 7, there were 168 combat encounters on the front lines over the past day. Forty-four of these occurred in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy lost more than 240 of their soldiers.
