Ukrainian military eliminated another 460 Russian invaders yesterday, thus bringing the total losses of the Russian army in our country to over 265,000 in manpower. Additionally, the Defense Forces sank an enemy boat, destroyed 14 armored vehicles, and shot down 37 drones, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to September 4, 2023, are estimated as follows:

  • Personnel: Approximately 265,120 (+460) troops eliminated,
  • Tanks: 4,480 (+4),
  • APVs: 8,663 (+14),
  • Artillery systems: 5,611 (+29),
  • MLRS: 741 (+2),
  • Anti-aircraft warfare systems: 503 (+1),
  • Aircraft: 315,
  • Helicopters: 316,
  • UAVs operational-tactical level: 4,481 (+37),
  • Cruise missiles: 1,447,
  • Ships/boats: 19 (+1),
  • Vehicles and fuel tanks: 8,149 (+47),
  • Special equipment: 847 (+6).

Frontline situation in the morning

As reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning summary, there were 30 combat clashes in the past day. Defensive forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, consolidating their achieved positions and carrying out counter-battery measures.

The Ukrainian Air Force conducted 9 strikes on areas where enemy personnel, equipment, and military vehicles were concentrated, and 5 strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile complexes.

Furthermore, our missile troops and artillery units struck 10 artillery systems in firing positions and 1 enemy anti-aircraft missile system during the past day.
