'Xi wants me to go there': Trump claims Chinese leader to visit US

US President Donald Trump has announced that Chinese leader Xi Jinping is planning to visit the United States, according to his interview with Breitbart News.
According to Trump, Chinese President Xi Jinping is actively seeking a personal meeting with him shortly, which could take place either this year in China or at the White House.
"[Xi] wants me to go there and he’s going to come [to the United States]," Trump said.
Trump open to visiting China
A day earlier, US President Donald Trump confirmed he might travel to China, but only under one condition.
"The fake news is reporting that I am seeking a ‘summit’ with President Xi of China. This is not correct, I am not seeking anything," Trump stated.
He said a visit to China is possible, but only if Xi extends a formal invitation, which, according to Trump, has already been offered.
"Otherwise, no interest! Thank you for your attention to this matter," he concluded.
Earlier, The Times reported that Xi Jinping was seeking to host a trilateral summit involving himself, US President Donald Trump, and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
