Situation at the front

Russian troops tried to use dense fog to approach Pokrovsk, where heavy fighting continues. However, Ukraine's Defense Forces managed to eliminate the enemy within the urban area.

As Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi recently stated, there is currently no question of the city falling to the occupiers, even though Russian sabotage groups managed to infiltrate Pokrovsk. Various units are now engaged in countering the enemy.

In addition to Pokrovsk, Russian forces are attempting to advance toward Myrnohrad, but with even less success. All attempts by small assault groups to enter the city have failed, with the enemy destroyed.

It should be noted that Ukraine's Armed Forces have refuted Russian claims about the occupation of Kupiansk, which remains a strategic objective for Moscow. On November 20, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and Chief of the Russian General Staff Valery Gerasimov falsely claimed the "encirclement of 15 Ukrainian battalions" in Kupiansk and simultaneously the "liberation" of the city.
