Frontline situation
Previously, it was reported that Ukrainian forces continue to clear Pokrovsk of enemy saboteurs who infiltrated the city in diversionary groups.
The operation involves the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Special Operations Forces, Ukrainian intelligence, and the Security Service of Ukraine.
In recent days, Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin claimed that Pokrovsk was encircled and allegedly even ordered journalists to be allowed into the city. However, Ukraine denies this information and continues fighting for strategic positions.
As reported, by the evening of November 1, there had been 131 combat engagements on the front over the course of the day, with the Pokrovsk direction remaining the hottest spot.
The enemy also recently spoke about encircling Kupiansk. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that the situation in that area is difficult, but Russian propaganda claims of blockades of Pokrovsk and Kupiansk do not reflect reality.
