Russia's losses in Ukraine as of November 21: +1,510 troops, 57 drones, 50 artillery systems
During the day from November 20 to November 21, the Russian army lost 1,510 soldiers, 8 tanks, and 24 armored combat vehicles at the front, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to November 21, 2024, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 727,250 (+1510) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 9398 (+8);
- armored personnel vehicle - 19,143 (+24);
- artillery systems - 20,731 (+50);
- MLRS - 1253 (+1);
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 1,003 (+2);
- aircraft - 369;
- helicopters - 329;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 19,259 (+57);
- cruise missiles - 2,756;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tankers - 29,745 (+97);
- special equipment - 3,674.
Situation at front and Russian missile attack
According to the Institute for the Study of War, the Russian invaders succeeded in six areas, but the Defense Forces of Ukraine regained control of the positions near Pokrovsk.
A MiG-31 fighter jet took off in Russia in the morning, and Ukraine declared an air alert.
Later, explosions were heard in Dnipro.
Around 6 a.m. Kyiv time, Russian strategic aviation launched missiles in the direction of Ukraine.
