Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 1,250 Russian invaders, bringing the total losses of the Russian army in personnel since the beginning of the large-scale invasion of Ukraine to about 420,270 troops. The Armed Forces of Ukraine also destroyed another ship, 21 tanks, and 50 artillery systems of the enemy, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 22 to March 06, 24 were approximately:

  • personnel - about 420270 (+1250) Russians were killed;
  • tanks - 6678 (+21) units;
  • armored combat vehicles - 12728 (+40) units;
  • artillery systems - 10308 (+50) units;
  • MLRS - 1008 (+1) units;
  • air defense systems - 701 (+1) units;
  • airplanes - 347 units;
  • helicopters - 325 units;
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 7921 (+58) units;
  • cruise missiles - 1918 (+1) units;
  • ships/boats - 26 (+1) units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • motor vehicles and tank trucks - 13479 (+56) units;
  • special equipment - 1642 (+12) units.

Situation at front on March 6

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports in a morning briefing that 86 combat engagements took place at the front over the past day. The military notes that the Russian invaders were putting pressure on two directions in the Donetsk region.

Ukrainian Defense Forces aviation struck 11 areas of concentration of Russian personnel. The missile units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck 2 control points, 1 area of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, 1 ammunition depot, 1 Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system, and 1 Zoopark-1 reconnaissance and fire control radar system.
