During the past day, March 30, the Ukrainian military eliminated another 650 Russian terrorists. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost about 442,170 personnel, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The overall Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022 to March 31, 2024 are estimated as follows:

  • Personnel: approximately 442,170 (+650) troops.
  • Tanks: 6,966 (+15)
  • APV (armored personnel vehicles): 13,304 (+20)
  • Artillery systems: 11,050 (+44)
  • MLRS (multiple launch rocket systems): 1,023
  • Anti-aircraft warfare systems: 743 (+7)
  • Aircraft: 347
  • Helicopters: 325
  • UAV operational-tactical level: 8,731 (+30)
  • Cruise missiles: 2,048 (+2)
  • Warships/boats: 26
  • Submarines: 1
  • Vehicles and fuel tankers: 14,717 (+47)
  • Special equipment: 1,823 (+9).

Frontline situation

As reported by the General Staff, there have been 85 combat clashes in the past day. The enemy primarily attacked on two fronts in the Donetsk region.

According to the Chief Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, recently the number of positions regained by our soldiers exceeds the number of losses.

Meanwhile, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy does not rule out a new Ukrainian military counteroffensive this year.
