Frontline situation
On the night of Wednesday, March 25, Ukraine's military struck a vessel of the Russian military in the Leningrad region. According to preliminary information, the target was the Project 23550 patrol icebreaker Purga. It was intended for operations within the Russian FSB border service.
Moreover, drones hit the Leningrad oil terminal on Ukraine's Security Service Day. Long-range drones from the SBU Special Operations Center Alpha struck targets at a distance of 900 km. A large-scale fire was also recorded on the port's territory, confirmed by the governor of the Leningrad region.
Meanwhile, ISW is warning that Russia сhanges strike tactics in Ukraine. This new strategy allows Russia to maintain pressure for longer and target a greater number of regions.
