Russian shipyard hit by drone attack in Vyborg, icebreaker damaged

On the night of March 25, drones attacked a shipbuilding plant in Vyborg, Russia’s Leningrad region. A patrol icebreaker was damaged, according to Ukrainian Defense Minister’s advisor Serhii Sternenko and Russian Telegram channels.
As a result of the drone attack on the shipbuilding plant, a Project 23550 patrol icebreaker was damaged.
Residents also reported a fire on the enterprise’s premises — a cargo vessel caught fire.
A building is also burning in Vyborg near an FSB base.

Drone attacks in Russia
On the night of March 25, Russia’s Leningrad region was massively attacked by drones. A fire broke out on the territory of the Ust-Luga port.
Also that night, Belgorod was shaken by a series of powerful explosions. As a result of the attack, energy infrastructure facilities were seriously damaged.
Following recent drone attacks, Russia temporarily halted oil exports through the ports of Primorsk and Ust-Luga. The strikes caused fires and disruptions to infrastructure operations.
Also, on March 23, Ukrainian forces attacked strategic Russian energy facilities: the Transneft-Port Primorsk oil terminal and the Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim oil refinery.
