Frontline situation
Russian forces have stepped up offensive operations in several sectors of the front in recent weeks. A sharp rise in attacks has been recorded in the Zaporizhzhia direction, where the intensity of assaults has at times surpassed that seen in one of the most strained areas of the frontline — the Pokrovsk direction.
According to Ukraine's Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi, Russia has been losing more soldiers on the battlefield than it manages to replenish with recruits for three months in a row.
