Frontline situation

A massive Russian missile and drone attack on Ukraine overnight killed at least 13 people and injured more than 100, with the heaviest damage reported in Kyiv, Dnipro, and Kharkiv.

In Dnipro, nine people, including a child, were killed, while Kyiv reported at least six fatalities and 79 injuries.

Residential buildings, civilian infrastructure, and energy facilities were damaged, leaving parts of eight Ukrainian regions temporarily without electricity.

Meanwhile, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck several high-value Russian military targets overnight, including the Ilsky oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar region and a Pantsir-S1 air defense system in occupied Crimea, according to the General Staff. A fire broke out at the refinery following the strike, while damage assessments are ongoing.

Ukrainian forces also targeted a drone storage facility and a Russian military vessel.
