Russian forces sustained fresh losses in troops and military equipment over the past 24 hours, according to Ukraine's latest battlefield assessment.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to June 27, 2026, are estimated to be:

  • Armored fighting vehicles ‒ 24,835 (+12)

Frontline situation

Ukrainian forces destroyed a rare mobile launch vehicle used by Russia to deploy Shahed kamikaze drones near Donetsk airport, the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade said.

Meanwhile, Russian forces continue trying to expand their foothold in the Sumy region, but Ukrainian troops are holding their positions, while the Lyman direction remains the most active sector of the front, a military spokesperson said.
