Ukrainian forces destroy rare target at Donetsk airport

Ukrainian Armed Forces have destroyed a vehicle used as a launch platform for Shahed kamikaze drones, according to the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign.
The brigade described the target as rare — a vehicle used as a mobile launch platform for Shahed drones.
The destruction took place in the area of the Donetsk airport.

"Today’s rare target is a vehicle used as a launch platform for Shahed-type drones. At Donetsk airport. For the first time. We are helping protect peaceful Ukrainian cities from this plague," the brigade said in a statement.
Earlier, units of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces brought Donetsk airport under fire control and completely destroyed the enemy infrastructure used to launch Shahed drones on the runway.
