Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine during the day from July 3 to 4 amounted to 1,200 occupiers. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia lost about 547,470 soldiers. In addition, during the day, the Armed Forces destroyed 65 Russian artillery systems and 26 unmanned aerial vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to July 4, 2024, approximately amounted to:

  • personnel - 547,470 (+1,200) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • tanks - 8132 (+9) units;
  • armored combat vehicles - 15,600 (+17) units;
  • artillery systems - 14,777 (+65) units;
  • MLRS - 1115 units;
  • air defense equipment - 878 (+2) units;
  • aircraft - 360 units;
  • helicopters - 326 units;
  • UAVs of the operational-tactical level - 11,694 (+26) units;
  • cruise missiles - 2342 (+6) units;
  • ships/boats - 28 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • automotive equipment and tank trucks - 19,923 (+73) units;
  • special equipment - 2468 (+4) units.

On the front, the Ukrainian Defense Forces were successful near Vovchansk and Kreminna, and the enemy Russia pressing near Toretsk.

According to ISW, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are forming ten assault brigades. The West should as soon as possible provide a sufficient number of weapons so that the new formations can conduct counteroffensive operations.

Last night, the Russians attacked Ukraine with Shahed attack drones. Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down all Russian drones.
