Russia's losses in Ukraine as of July 21: Over 1,100 soldiers and 44 artillery systems more

Over the past 24 hours, from July 20 to July 21, Russian forces lost 1,100 soldiers, an anti-aircraft warfare system, and 44 artillery systems in the war in Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian General Staff.
Total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to July 21, 2024, are approximately:
- personnel - approximately 566,710 (+1,100) individuals eliminated;
- tanks - 8266 (+9) units;
- armored personnel vehicles - 15 963 (+46) units;
- artillery systems - 15 586 (+44) units.
- MLRS - 1,121 units;
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 896 (+1) units;
- aircraft - 362 units;
- helicopters - 326 units;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 12 402 (+52) units;
- cruise missiles - 2,401 units;
- warships/boats - 28 units;
- submarines: 1 unit;
- vehicles & fuel tanks - 21 036 (+68) units;
- special equipment - 2616 (+9) units.
According to ISW, the Russian forces advanced near Vovchansk, as well as in the areas of Svatove and Donetsk.
Last night, Russian forces launched dozens of drones at Ukraine. All enemy targets approaching Kyiv were intercepted and destroyed by air defense forces.
