All enemy drones launched by Russian forces to strike Kyiv last night were destroyed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces' air defense systems, states Serhiy Popko, the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration (KRMA).
The official clarified that the enemy drones were neutralized by Ukrainian air defense forces on the approach to Kyiv.
"Today, a certain number of enemy drones were heading towards Kyiv, but all were destroyed by air defense forces on the approaches," the administration chief stated in his Telegram.
He added that information about the type and number of the enemy drones will be available later in the reports from the Ukrainian Air Force.
According to Popko, there is no information about damages or casualties resulting from the enemy's aerial attack in Kyiv.
The Kyiv Regional Military Administration also noted that over the past two weeks, this is at least the fifth consecutive real attempt by the enemy to attack the capital with drones.
