The enemy lost one aircraft and 1,240 personnel on the front line over the past 24 hours as of December 5. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also took down many Russian drones, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
Thus, from February 24, 2022, to December 5, 2025, inclusive, the approximate combat losses of the enemy amounted to:

Situation on the front line
According to the latest update from the General Staff, as of 22:00 on December 4, a total of 154 combat engagements took place on the front line during the day. The highest number was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their defensive operation in Pokrovsk. Information published by the German outlet Bild about the complete capture of the city by Russian troops and the battle being over does not correspond to reality.
