Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Wednesday morning, December 13, amounted to 850 troops, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion to 341,500. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 18 tanks, 10 UAVs 15 armored personnel carriers, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 13.12.23 are estimated to be

  • personnel - about 341,500 (+850) people were killed;
  • tanks - 5682 (+18) units;
  • armored combat vehicles - 10594 (+15) units;
  • artillery systems - 8076 (+3) units;
  • MLRS - 919 units;
  • air defense systems - 605 units;
  • airplanes - 324 units;
  • helicopters - 324 units;
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 6173 (+10) units;
  • cruise missiles - 1596 units;
  • ships/boats - 22 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • motor vehicles and tankers - 10662 (+12) units;
  • special equipment - 1176 (+6) units.

The situation at the front

On the last day, 95 combat engagements were registered in the frontline. The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to repel Russian attacks near Avdiivka and in the Maryinka direction. In particular, according to the Institute for War Studies, the Ukrainian Armed Forces counterattacked in the Avdiivka direction and drove Russian forces back from their positions near Stepove.
