Russia's losses in Ukraine as of August 30: Over 1,200 soldiers, MLRS, dozens of drones more

In the past 24 hours, from August 29 to 30, Russian forces have lost 1,200 soldiers, one air defense system, and 47 artillery systems on the front lines, according to data from the Ukrainian General Staff.
The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to August 30, 2024, are estimated as follows:
- Personnel – around 613 590 (+1200) eliminated;
- Tanks - 8574 (+3) units;
- APV (Armored personnel vehicles) - 16 722 (+23) units;
- Artillery systems - 17 572 (+23) units;
- MLRS (Multiple launch rocket systems) - 1175 (+1) units;
- Anti-aircraft warfare systems – 940 (+1) units;
- Aircraft – 368 units;
- Helicopters – 328 units;
- UAVs operational-tactical level - 14 453 (+84) units;
- Cruise missiles - 2556 units;
- Warships/boats – 28 units;
- Submarines – 1 unit;
- Vehicles and fuel tankers - 23 763 (+57) units;
- Special equipment - 2967 (+2) units.
According to the ISW, the Russian army has made advances in several directions in the Donetsk region.
The Russians have several options and objectives for capturing Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad.
The General Staff reports that the past 24 hours have seen a record number of combat engagements on the front lines, with the highest intensity observed in the Donetsk region.
