Russia's losses in Ukraine as of August 27: +920 troops and 194 drones

Over the past 24 hours, from August 26 to 27, the enemy has lost another 920 soldiers. Ukrainian forces also destroyed nearly 200 drones and more than 100 vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to August 27, 2025, are approximately as follows:
- Personnel - about 1,078,750 (+920) Russian troops were eliminated;
- Tanks - 11,135 (+1);
- Troop-carrying AFVs - 23,178;
- Artillery systems - 32,024 (+45);
- MLRS - 1,472;
- Anti-aircraft systems - 1,212 (+1);
- Aircraft - 422;
- Helicopters - 340;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 53,636 (+194);
- Cruise missiles - 3,598;
- Warships/boats - 28;
- Submarines - 1;
- Vehicles and fuel tanks - 59,887 (+118);
- Special equipment - 3,950.
Frontline situation
As of the evening of August 26, 130 combat clashes were recorded on the front. The heaviest fighting took place in the Lyman and Pokrovsk directions, with 27 and 30 attacks respectively.
During the night, Russian forces carried out a massive drone strike on Sumy. Parts of the city were left without electricity, public transport stopped operating, and water is now being supplied on a schedule.
In addition, the enemy attacked the Kharkiv region with Shahed drones. Powerful explosions were heard in Kharkiv.
