Russia's losses in Ukraine as of 9/17: Over 500 occupants and 15 artillery systems eliminated
During the past day, on September 16, the Ukrainian military eliminated another 530 Russian occupiers. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the country-terrorist Russia has lost approximately 272,320 personnel, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to September 17, 2023, are estimated as follows:
- Personnel: Approximately 272,320 (+530) troops eliminated,
- Tanks: 4,620 (+4),
- APVs: 8,828 (+4),
- Artillery systems: 6,003 (+15),
- MLRS: 776 (+2),
- Anti-aircraft warfare systems: 523 (+2),
- Aircraft: 315,
- Helicopters: 316,
- UAVs operational-tactical level: 4,742 (+4),
- Cruise missiles: 1,455,
- Ships/boats: 20,
- Vehicles and fuel tanks: 8,537 (+12),
- Special equipment: 896 (+5).
Situation on the front
According to analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Ukrainian military forces have managed to make significant tactical breakthroughs in the area of the terrorist defense line in the Robotyne region of the Zaporizhzhia region in recent weeks.
It is also noted that our soldiers have advanced in the areas of Klishchiivka, Donetsk region, and Verbove, Zaporizhzhia region. Russian terrorists, in the meantime, were shelling their comrades with artillery fire as they surrendered in Andriivka.
