Russia's $50 million Su-30SM aircraft destroyed, Ukraine's intelligence reports

A multi-role Su-30SM fighter jet worth approximately $50 million was destroyed at the Rostov-on-Don Central airfield in Russia, according to Ukraine's Defense Intelligence.
"The latest act of resistance against the criminal Putin regime in Russia - a multi-role Su-30SM fighter jet with tail number 35 caught fire and burned at the Rostov-on-Don Central airfield," the intelligence stated.
The intelligence noted that the estimated cost of the destroyed aircraft is $50 million.
"The scale of forces willing to resist the Kremlin and carry out acts of demilitarization against the aggressor state is growing! The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine reminds that there will be just retribution for every war crime committed against the Ukrainian people," the intelligence officers emphasized.
Destruction of Russian aircraft
In February, soldiers from the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade destroyed a Russian Su-25 aircraft in the Toretsk direction.
Last December, Ukrainian soldiers from the special unit of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine Group 13 made history by destroying an enemy Mi-8 helicopter with the Magura V5, a strike sea drone.
Additionally, Ukrainian intelligence destroyed a Russian Su-30SM aircraft over the Black Sea using a man-portable air-defense system (MANPADS).
