Situation near Myrnohrad
On the Pokrovsk axis, the situation remains difficult. According to the military, Russian forces have been unable to break through Ukraine’s defenses with direct assaults and have therefore changed tactics. The enemy is now attempting to bypass the main Ukrainian forces from the northeast and southwest to create conditions for the operational encirclement of the city.
Fighters of the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the 7th Rapid Response Corps continue to carry out missions in this sector and on the northern outskirts of Myrnohrad.

New tactics using quad bikes
Paratroopers report a significant increase in the number of quad bikes used by the occupiers for assault operations and transporting infantry. The enemy chooses this transport due to its high cross-country capability. In many cases, Russian troops attempt to move in groups of four on a single vehicle.
"Despite their obvious advantages, quad bikes also have significant drawbacks, including limited maneuverability, which makes it easier for strike drone operators to target them," the brigade said.
Situation on the Pokrovsk axis
The Russian command has significantly reinforced its grouping on the Pokrovsk axis, concentrating around 150,000 personnel there.
According to Ukrainian defenders, the enemy adheres to one primary combat tactic while intensifying assaults in the Myrnohrad area. Russian forces are attempting to advance heavy equipment toward the city center, which has led to a serious escalation in recent days.
Despite the enemy’s numerical superiority, the Armed Forces of Ukraine recently successfully repelled a large-scale breakthrough attempt by Russian mobile groups. After two days of fierce fighting, Russian forces suffered heavy losses.
