Russia pushes forward near Pokrovsk: Ukrainian army details enemy strategy

In the Pokrovsk direction, there are over 100,000 Russian troops, allowing them to continue their offensive despite heavy losses, according to Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the Operational-Strategic Group Khortytsia.
He noted that a significant number of occupiers are concentrated around Pokrovsk in a relatively narrow section of the front.
At the same time, the military official emphasized that the Russian army continuously replenishes its resources, which enables the enemy to maintain pressure on Ukrainian Armed Forces positions, even with small groups, along the entire front line.
“We need to understand that such a number of troops would be enough to conquer certain European countries. Here, they are concentrated east of Pokrovsk, in a narrow area, actively trying to capture several villages,” Trehubov said.
He also added that this summer, the Russians planned to advance in the Sumy region and the Dnipropetrovsk region along the Novopavlivka direction. However, they failed, and the number of attacks there has decreased.
At the same time, the spokesperson for the Khortytsia group did not rule out a resurgence of enemy activity in these areas.
Trehubov reported that the Russian forces are trying to encircle Pokrovsk and have had some success in this area. Meanwhile, the Defense Forces are working to eliminate as much enemy manpower as possible.
Meanwhile, the 81st Separate Airmobile Slobozhanska Brigade reported that the Russian forces are attacking the Siversk direction using all types of weapons.
Over the past day, there have been 131 combat clashes on the front line, including 42 assault actions, only on the Pokrovsk direction.
