Russian strikes on Kharkiv
On January 2, Russians struck the center of Kharkiv with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles. The missiles hit a residential high-rise building, damaging a five-story building and part of the entrance to a four-story apartment building.
27 people were injured, and 6 casualties have been reported. A search and rescue operation is underway at the site of the Russian attack. According to local authorities, 5 people may have been trapped under the rubble.
Meanwhile, Russian propagandists spread claims that the missile strike on a residential building in Kharkiv was allegedly a provocation by Ukraine.
On the morning of January 1, Russian troops carried out a guided aerial bomb strike on the suburbs of Kharkiv. The explosion was heard in the city, and the aerial bomb hit the territory of an eco-park, injuring a 40-year-old woman.
As a result of the Russian air strike on the eco-park near Kharkiv, a volunteer was injured, and some of the facility's buildings were severely damaged. Animals, including lions, were also injured, and most of the birds were killed.
