Russia massively strikes critical infrastructure in Ukraine's Chernihiv with drones

On Thursday, September 25, the Russian army launched a drone strike on critical infrastructure in the city of Chernihiv, according to the Ukrainian Air Force and the head of the Chernihiv city military administration, Dmytro Bryzhynskyi.
At around 1 p.m. Kyiv time, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of a drone threat to Chernihiv and the surrounding area. They also urged locals to take shelter. An hour later, they issued another warning about the danger to the city.
At 2:30 p.m., Bryzhinskyi reported that Chernihiv was under Russian attack.
"Russia is attacking critical infrastructure in the city. Stay in safe places," he said.
Chernihivvodokanal state company also urged city residents to stock up on water.
Russian attacks on Chernihiv
The Russian army periodically attacks Chernihiv and the region with drones and various types of missiles. In particular, on September 20, the city was attacked by Russian drones. Russian strikes damaged the transport infrastructure.
Today, Russians struck the city of Nizhyn in the Chernihiv region. 14 explosions were recorded there in 25 minutes. Critical infrastructure was hit, causing problems with electricity and water.
