Russia massively attacks Odesa with drones: Houses left without electricity, water, heat

During the night of February 18-19, Russian forces launched a massive drone attack on Odesa. As a result of the assault, many homes were left without electricity, water, and heating, according to Odesa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov on Telegram.
"As a result of the massive enemy strike on a densely populated area of the city, a large number of buildings are without electricity, water, and heating," the statement reads.
Trukhanov added that hospitals, clinics, and social infrastructure facilities have also been left without heating.
As of now, an operational headquarters is being deployed at the site.
"Together with specialists, we are currently assessing the consequences," Trukhanov added.
Russia's attacks on Ukraine
Russian forces continue to attack Ukraine with drones and other weapons daily.
Between the evening of February 17 and the morning of February 18, Russian forces launched 176 Shahed-type attack drones at Ukrainian territory. As of 9:00 a.m. Kyiv time, Ukrainian air defense forces had managed to shoot down 103 Shaheds and other UAVs. An additional 67 enemy decoy drones were lost locally without causing any damage.
