Russia massively attacking Ukraine with drones: Details
On the evening of Sunday, November 24, Russia launched another wave of Shahed kamikaze drones targeting Ukraine. Air raid alerts were declared in multiple regions, and air defense systems were activated, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The attack drones began entering Ukrainian airspace after 7:00 PM (Kyiv time).
As of 12:01 AM on Monday, November 25, hostile drones were detected in the central part of Kyiv region, constantly changing their course.
Russian drones were also identified in the following areas:
- The northern part of the Kyiv region is moving eastward.
- The eastern part of the Vinnytsia region, heading westward.
- The southern part of the Chernihiv region, heading westward.
- The central part of the Sumy region, heading southwestward.
- South of Cherkasy, heading westward.
- The central part of the Poltava region, heading westward.
- The northern part of the Kirovohrad region, heading northwestward.
- The western part of the Dnipropetrovsk region, heading westward.
- The western part of the Zaporizhzhia region, with the course constantly changing.
- The southern part of the Mykolaiv region, heading north or northwest.
As of 1:04 AM, strike drones are observed in the following areas:
- The southern part of Vinnytsia region, heading west;
- The southeastern part of Zhytomyr region, heading west;
- Over Kyiv, in the Brovary area and west of Irpin, constantly changing course;
- Moving from Poltava region towards Kyiv region;
- Heading toward Cherkasy from the east;
- On the border of Cherkasy and Kirovohrad regions, heading south;
- In the northwestern part of Mykolaiv region, heading south;
- North of Zaporizhzhia, heading southwest.

Massive air attack
Late on November 24, air raid sirens sounded in Kyiv due to the approaching drones.
Shortly afterward, powerful explosions were reported in the capital as air defense systems engaged.
On Sunday, air raid alerts were declared twice in Kyiv.
Additionally, Russian forces launched two air missiles at the Chernihiv region, causing injuries and damaging civilian infrastructure.
