Closer to midnight, Russia attacked Dnipro; explosions were heard. As a result, a multi-story building and a bank were damaged. Currently, four people are known to be wounded - among them a child, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha.

Before the Russian attack, starting from the evening of March 9, the Air Force had reported groups of drones moving towards the Dnipropetrovsk region, specifically heading for Pavlohrad.

Later, the media began reporting explosions in the city. Soon after, the head of the Regional State Administration began providing information on the attack's consequences.

"A fire broke out. The shockwave damaged a multi-story building and a bank premises," Hanzha wrote.

Initially, two victims were reported, including a 29-year-old woman. Medics hospitalized her; her condition is assessed as moderate.

A 60-year-old man was also injured. Medics provided him with assistance on the spot, and he refused hospitalization.

As of 12:10 AM Kyiv time, it became known that a 12-year-old boy was among the wounded. Medics are attending to him.

Attacks on Dnipro and the region

The enemy periodically attacks the Dnipropetrovsk region. For instance, Russia struck Dnipro hard on February 28. At that time, a Shahed drone fell not far from the house of the city's mayor, Borys Filatov.

And in mid-February, Dnipro was one of the cities where the energy situation proved difficult. As is known, blackouts severely affected Ukraine at the time; currently, the problem of power outages has stabilized, but not completely.

At the beginning of February, as a result of Russian attacks, Dnipro also experienced a problem with heating, like many other metropolitan areas, including Kyiv.
