Russia again attacked Ukraine overnight on December 10, launching 80 strike drones. Ukrainian air defense managed to shoot down most of the enemy UAVs, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

According to the military, from 18:00 on December 9 until the morning of December 10, Russia attacked with 80 Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of strike drones, launching them from the directions of Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo (Russia), and Chauda (Crimea). About 50 of them were Shaheds.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense shot down or suppressed 50 Shahed, Gerbera, and other enemy UAVs in the southern and eastern parts of the country.

A total of 29 strike drones hit seven locations.

"The attack continues, several enemy UAVs remain in the airspace. Follow safety rules!" the Air Force warned.

Attacks on Ukraine

Overnight on December 10, Russian forces attacked a gas pipeline in the Zelenodolsk community of the Dnipropetrovsk region with a drone. A man was killed in the strike.

Last night, Russian forces also attacked several gas infrastructure facilities in Ukraine with strike UAVs, damaging critical equipment.

Overall, on the night of December 9, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 110 drones. UAVs approached from seven directions, targeting energy infrastructure.

In particular, following the Russian attack on energy facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region, more than 5,000 consumers in the Zaporizhzhia region were left without power.

Russian forces also attacked a fire station in the Zaporizhzhia district with a strike drone, damaging the building and rescuers' equipment.
