Russia launches overnight attacks on Dnipro, Cherkasy and Zaporizhzhia: Details

The enemy struck Ukrainian cities and settlements on the night of April 15. Fires, destruction, and injuries are reported in Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Cherkasy, and Sumy.
RBC-Ukraine reports what is known about the attack as of the morning.
Main points about the overnight attack:
- Dnipro – as a result of a Russian drone attack, an administrative building caught fire in the city, which firefighters are still extinguishing. A 29-year-old woman was also injured.
- Cherkasy – enemy targets fell in several locations in the regional center. Three people are reported to be injured.
- Zaporizhzhia – explosions in the city, a burning parking lot, and a strike on a public transport stop. An enterprise was damaged.
Dnipro
After 3 a.m. Kyiv time, it became known about the Russian strike on Dnipro – the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, reported that an administrative building caught fire as a result of the attack. A 9-story new building in the city center was also damaged.
Among the injured is a 29-year-old woman; medics have provided her with the necessary assistance.

Cherkasy
Cherkasy was the next city after Dnipro, where the consequences of the Russian strike became known. Ihor Taburets, head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, reported on Telegram about the aftermath of the drone attack – enemy targets were recorded falling in several locations in the regional center.
The air alert was announced, in particular, in the Zvenyhorodka and Zolotonosha districts of the region. Regarding the injured, three people are reported, but their condition has not been specified.
Zaporizhzhia
Zaporizhzhia suffered the most from the Russian attack on the night of April 15. The head of the Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, warned of the threat of drones, guided bombs, and high-speed missiles in the region.
Explosions in the region occurred around midnight. After numerous reports of explosions, fires were reported. As a result of the Russian attack in Zaporizhzhia, a parking lot, an enterprise, a bus stop, nearby residential buildings, and a kiosk were damaged.
A 74-year-old female kiosk seller, who was inside the kiosk during the attack, was killed.
Sumy
On Wednesday morning, it became known that an enemy attack on Sumy – a drone hit the city's industrial zone, and rescuers extinguished the fire. Later, the enemy struck the same location twice more. Preliminarily – no casualties.

On the night of April 14, the Russian forces launched 4 missiles and 129 drones at Ukraine, of which about 90 were Shahed drones. The south of the Odesa region suffered the most – a civilian vessel flying the Panamanian flag was damaged in the Izmail port.
At the same time, Russian drones attacked Kryvyi Rih – infrastructure was damaged in the city, and a fire broke out.
