Russia launches missile attack on Kherson and Dnipro
Russian occupants launched a missile attack on Kherson. So far, it is known about one victim who sustained an explosive injury and wounds, according to the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
Russian occupants launched a missile attack on Kherson. The Kherson Regional Military Administration has reported one victim who sustained explosive trauma and injuries.
“A 64-year-old man who was in the building sustained an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to his face. The victim was provided with medical assistance on the spot,” the regional military administration writes.
Explosion in Dnipro
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had previously warned of the threat of Russian ballistic missile attacks in areas where air alert has been declared.
According to Suspilne, an explosion was also heard in Dnipro. After that, the Ukrainian Air Force reported another high-speed target moving in the direction of Dnipro.
As of 12:36 p.m. Kyiv time, air alerts have been issued in Cherkasy, Poltava region, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Odesa, and Donetsk regions.
Russian shelling of Ukraine
On the night of November 1, Russian troops again attacked Ukraine with:
- 3 Kh-59/69 type guided missiles launched from the airspace of the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region;
- 48 unmanned aerial vehicles, including Shahed drones and unmanned aerial vehicles of unspecified type.
As of 8 a.m. Kyiv time, it was reported that 31 drones were shot down. Another 14 lost contact with the control base and three drones changed direction and headed towards Belarus.
