Consequences of the massive Russian overnight attack on the Ukrainian city of Odesa have been revealed. Along with residential buildings, Russian forces hit a kindergarten and a lycée, while two people were injured, including an 11-year-old boy, according to the head of Odesa City Military Administration.

"Two people injured as a result of an enemy attack have been confirmed. They are an 11-year-old boy and a 59-year-old man. Both are receiving all necessary medical assistance," Lysak wrote.

He added that, besides residential buildings, lycée and kindergarten buildings were damaged as well.

"Operational headquarters are already being deployed on site to assist Odesa residents. All emergency and municipal services are working to eliminate consequences," a statement from the head of Odesa City Military Administration said.

Ukrainian Air Force reported groups of drones heading toward the Odesa region and Odesa itself after 1 a.m. on May 18. Russia launched drones, in particular, from Black Sea area.

During the night of May 16, Russians carried out a massive drone attack on the southern part of the Odesa region. Residential and port infrastructure were damaged, and there were injured people.

On May 15, the enemy launched a combined missile and drone strike on the Odesa region. As a result of the attack, there were injured people, and damage in the residential sector was recorded.
