Russia launches drone attack on Ukraine's Kharkiv, causing injuries and destruction

The Russian army carried out a massive strike on Ukraine's Kharkiv on January 25, hitting several districts of the city, according to the Kharkiv Regional State Emergency Service.
One of the strikes hit the roof of a private residential house in the Nemyshlianskyi district of the city. Another impact struck the wall of the 10th floor of a 12-story apartment building in the Kyivskyi district.
Rescue workers inspected the damaged homes. No fires were reported.
One civilian was injured—a 79-year-old woman who was taken to the hospital with wounds. Emergency Service psychologists and demining specialists were also working at the scene.
Earlier today, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that the Russians had struck a shopping mall in the city with a drone, but later clarified that the impact had actually hit a high-rise residential building.
Russia's attack on Kharkiv
On the night of January 24, Russian forces once again attacked Ukraine's Kharkiv, using drones. Over the course of two and a half hours, 25 enemy drones were launched at the city.
Mayor Ihor Terekhov said the attack damaged residential buildings in the Industrialnyi and Nemyshlianskyi districts of the city.
In addition, on January 21, the enemy also struck Kharkiv—at that time, according to the mayor, a drone crash was recorded in the Slobidskyi district of the city.
