Russia launches deadliest strike since WWII on Konotop: Damage revealed

In Konotop, Sumy region, some city streets lost power due to a combined air attack by Russian forces. There is also damage to an infrastructure facility, reports Konotop mayor Artem Semenikhin.
According to the mayor, the current enemy attack was the most massive and combined strike on our city, probably since World War II.
In Konotop, there is no information about casualties or injuries.
“The city’s infrastructure facility in one of the neighborhoods, already damaged before, has been destroyed. Even the trees on the site were wiped out. So far, no destruction or damage to the residential sector has been recorded,” the mayor said.
He also reported that some streets in Konotop are partially without power, but everything should be restored within the next few hours.
Combined air attack on the night of May 25
On the night of May 25, Russian forces launched a massive attack on Ukrainian territory using kamikaze drones and various types of missiles. This combined attack was the second in a row following yesterday’s shelling, where Kyiv was the main target of the enemy.
Today, the capital was also attacked, along with several other cities across different regions of the country. Reports came in of explosions in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Konotop, Sumy, Ternopil, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, and the Zaporizhzhia region.
Additionally, there are reports of casualties in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and the Kyiv region (where three people died).
