Russia launches 400 drones and 18 missiles overnight with Kyiv and region as main targets, Zelenskyy

On the night of July 10, Russia attacked Ukraine with 400 strike drones and 18 missiles. The primary target of the attack was Kyiv and the region, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reports.
According to Zelenskyy, during the massive combined strike that lasted nearly ten hours, Russian terrorists used:
- 18 missiles, including ballistic ones;
- about 400 drones, nearly 200 of which were Shahed UAVs.
The main target of the attack was Kyiv and the region. Enemy strikes also hit the following areas:
- Chernihiv;
- Sumy;
- Poltava;
- Kirovohrad;
- Kharkiv regions.
Due to the shelling of Kyiv:
- two people were killed;
- 16 people were injured.
As the Ukrainian President noted, Russia is escalating its terror campaign, and the West must respond faster with sanctions and pressure against the terrorist state, as well as invest in weapons production and technological development.
"Today, I will be speaking with partners, in particular - within the Coalition of the Willing - about additional funding for the production of interceptor drones and the supply of air defense systems for Ukraine. The objectives are absolutely clear. Such Russian attacks must be met with a tough response. And that is exactly what we will deliver," Zelenskyy added.
