Russia launched a drone attack on Kyiv on the night of March 9, sending over 30 drones towards the Ukrainian capital, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration on Telegram.

"33 enemy UAVs were detected on the approaches to the capital during the night. 12 of them were destroyed by air defense systems, while the rest were either lost or left the airspace," the report states.

The Kyiv City Military Administration clarified that no information about damages from the attack has been received. There were also no reports of casualties from falling debris.

Aerial alerts were declared in Kyiv at 10:30 PM on March 8 and lasted until 1:16 AM on March 9. Explosions were heard near midnight, and air defense forces were active.

On the night of March 7, Russia launched a combined strike on Ukraine, using missiles and drones. The energy and gas infrastructure in various regions were targeted.

On the night of March 8, Russia fired two ballistic missiles, a cruise missile (Iskander-K), and 145 drones at Ukraine. Air defense systems destroyed 79 drones and the cruise missile. Another 54 enemy drones, which were decoys, were lost in certain areas without causing harm.

The regions of Odesa, Kharkiv, and Donetsk were targeted. Russian forces heavily attacked Dobropillia, resulting in over 10 deaths and around 50 injuries from the shelling.
