Russia targets Ukraine's energy and gas infrastructure - Ukraine's Minister of Energy

Since the night and into the morning, Russia has been carrying out massive attacks on Ukraine using drones and missiles. The energy and gas infrastructure has been under attack, states Ukraine's Minister of Energy, Herman Halushchenko.
"Russia continues its energy terror. Once again, the energy and gas infrastructure in various regions of Ukraine is under massive missile and drone attacks," he wrote.
Halushchenko informed that where possible, rescuers and energy workers are working to mitigate the consequences — all necessary measures are being taken to stabilize power and gas supplies.
"Russia is trying to inflict pain on ordinary Ukrainians by targeting energy and gas production facilities, to leave us without light and heat, causing the greatest harm to ordinary citizens," the minister emphasized.
Halushchenko also urged Ukrainians to stay in shelters and follow official updates, as the situation in the energy system may change.
