Russia launched an overnight air attack on Ukraine using 123 attack drones. Ukraine's air defense forces successfully neutralized 108 enemy drones, according to a report by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

For the latest attack on Ukraine, Russia used:

  • Shahed drones (including jet-powered versions);

  • Gerbera drones;

  • Italmas drones;

  • Parodiya decoy drones.

The enemy drones were launched from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Shatalovo, and Millerovo in Russia, as well as Donetsk in the temporarily occupied territories and Chauda in the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack.

According to preliminary data as of 8:30 a.m., Ukraine's air defense forces destroyed or suppressed 108 enemy drones of various types in the north, south, center, and east of the country.

At the same time, the following were recorded:

  • 12 strike drones hit targets at 10 locations;

  • Debris from downed drones fell at 5 locations.

The Air Force noted that the enemy's attack is still ongoing, with several Russian drones remaining in Ukrainian airspace.

Ukrainians are urged not to ignore air raid alerts and to follow safety rules.

The death toll from Russia's July 6 attack on Kyiv had risen again.

Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha confirmed that the enemy had killed an entire family in the capital.

Ukraine's air defense was unable to intercept a single ballistic missile during Russia's massive attack on July 6.
