In Kyiv, the death toll from the Russian strike on the night of July 6 has risen to 19 people. In the Darnytskyi district, rescuers recovered another body from under the rubble, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

What is known as of now

During the night, in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv, rescuers recovered three more bodies of the deceased from under the rubble.

The total number of victims of the night attack has risen to 19 people.

Debris clearance operations are ongoing.

On the night of July 6, Russian troops carried out a combined attack on Ukraine, using missiles and strike drones. The heaviest destruction occurred in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, and Vyshneve.

In the capital, the Podilskyi and Darnytskyi districts suffered the most. In the Podilskyi district, according to preliminary data, about ten people could have remained trapped under the rubble of a destroyed building.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha reported that an entire family was killed as a result of the ballistic missile strike on Kyiv.

A Day of Mourning has been declared in Kyiv for July 7. Flags will be lowered across the city, and all entertainment events will be canceled.
