Rescue teams are continuing search operations in Kyiv following Russia's missile strike. The exact number of people who may be trapped under the rubble is still being determined, according to Pavlo Petrov, spokesperson for Kyiv's State Emergency Service.

Search and rescue operations are ongoing in the Podilskyi and Darnytskyi districts of the capital following the Russian missile attack. Emergency crews, heavy engineering equipment, cranes, and canine teams are working at the sites.

According to Petrov, preliminary information indicates that up to 10 people may still be trapped under the rubble of a residential building in Kyiv's Podilskyi district. The exact number will only be known once rescuers complete the removal of the destroyed structures.

"Heavy engineering equipment is currently operating at the site, and the rescue operation is ongoing. Unfortunately, based on the information available to us, people may still be trapped under the rubble," Petrov said.

According to the State Emergency Service, Russia's attack on Kyiv has killed 15 people.

Overnight on July 6, Russian forces launched a combined attack on Ukraine using missiles and attack drones. The heaviest destruction was reported in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, and Vyshneve.

In the capital, the Podilskyi and Darnytskyi districts were hit hardest.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said an entire family was killed in the ballistic missile strike on Kyiv.

More details on the aftermath of the attack are available in RBC-Ukraine's report.
