Russia continues its attacks on Ukraine. In the past week alone, the occupiers launched over 700 bombs, drones, and missiles, according to the Telegram channel of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to him, Ukrainian cities and communities remain under constant Russian shelling. Even on Christmas night, the terrorists launched a massive air attack.

"Over the past week, Russia has deployed more than 370 attack drones, around 280 guided aerial bombs, and 80 missiles of various types against Ukraine," the president said.

Zelenskyy emphasized that such terror can only be stopped through collective strength.

"I am grateful to the defenders who save our people from daily attacks and to the partners who understand the importance of providing timely air defense systems to protect lives and bring about a fair and just peace," the head of state noted.

Russian attacks on Ukraine

On December 25, Russia launched a massive assault on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, deploying missiles and drones. Significant damage was inflicted on thermal power plant equipment.

The enemy aimed to deprive Ukrainians of electricity, gas, heating, and water. During this attack, Russia launched over 70 missiles.

Additionally, every night, the occupiers attack Ukraine with drones and missiles, sometimes using only drones but in smaller numbers. For instance, on the night of December 29, the Russians launched six S-300/S-400 missiles and 10 drones at Ukraine.

Air defense systems shot down nearly all the drones in one region. In Mykolaiv region, a fire broke out at an energy facility, leaving one person injured.
