Russian forces launched drone attacks on the Mykolaiv region, targeting Ochakiv and the Chornomorska community, leaving one person injured, according to the Telegram channel of Mykolaiv Regional Governor Vitalii Kim.

Attack on Chornomorska community

In the early hours of December 29, at 12:50 a.m., Russian forces targeted the Chornomorska community with drones, striking an unused building.

"Debris caused a fire in an administrative building at an energy infrastructure site, which was promptly extinguished by firefighters," Mykolaiv Regional Governor Vitaliy Kim reported.

A 49-year-old worker was injured in the attack. His condition is stable.

Ochakiv under attack

On December 28, at approximately 11:40 p.m., Ochakiv was struck by Shahed drones. Debris from downed drones caused fires in three utility structures and a vacation house in a recreational area.

"Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames. No injuries were reported," Kim stated.

Ongoing strikes in Mykolaiv and the region

This marks the second consecutive night of attacks on Mykolaiv and its surroundings. On the night of December 28, drone strikes in Mykolaiv caused a fire in a multi-story building, damaging its roof.

Additionally, debris from downed drones caused property damage at a local enterprise. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries.
